Skills Required:

* Hands on experience with various technologies and skills including networking, security, Linux and kernel hardening, systems integration, advanced troubleshooting, and authentication/authorization services

* Excellent troubleshooting skill and ability to understand complex relationships between components of the overall systems architecture

* Solid knowledge of operating system internals, file system structures and machine architectures

* Ability to monitor, analyze, test and tune the operating system

* Broad knowledge of networking and networking applications

* Advanced Linux experience

* Experience with Network Security and Intrusion Detection Systems

* Experience supporting Apache, PHP, Tomcat, and Java services

* Exposure to collaborative software development, including use of version control software such as Subversion

* Excellent scripting skills. Strong knowledge of bash, perl, and other languages

* Extensive Linux application support for mission critical services including Asterisk, Apache, MySQL, SSH, BIND/DNS, SMTP, Rsync and numerous other common Linux network services

* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with emphasis on clear documentation and ability to draw effective diagrams
